DELIVERY OF THE TRANSFORMER TO THE BELARUSIAN METALLURGICAL PLANT
In October 2015 RTL implemented delivery of transformer produced by the Italian company TES Transformer for the Belarusian Metallurgical Plant.
Dimensions of transformer — 7.7 x 3.3 x 4.4 m, weight - 107 t
The cargo was shipped from Italian port of Chioggia to the port of Ilyichevsk, Ukraine by river-sea vessel.
In the port of Illichevsk the transformer was loaded onto an 8-axle railway transporter. The mounting and placement scheme was developed and approved by RTL engineers. RTL specialists made a metal frame for fixing the load on the truck and carried out work on fixing it according to the previously developed scheme. The transformer placed on the conveyor had extra-large dimensions and fell under the index H0180, in this regard, the train was accompanied by a car equipped with a control frame that repeats the dimensions of the transformer. The conveyor and the car with the control frame moved in a special train along a previously agreed route.
