Delivery of grain harvesting equipment

In July 2018, RTL successfully implemented a project for the delivery of grain harvesting equipment. LLC Rostselmash Combine Plant. This plant is a regular customer of our company. RTL specialist received a request to work out the route and organize forwarding services for the delivery of oversized cargo from Rostov-on-Don in the city of Beira (Mozambique). In total, 3 Acros-595 Plus combine harvesters and 2 pcs of brand “Torum-780”were ready for shipment.

Transportation was carried out by road from the factory in Rostov-on-Don to the sea port of Novorossiysk, where the equipment was loaded into containers of the Maersk line for further shipment to the port of Beira (Mozambique). Due to frequent cases of piracy in southern Africa, it was decided to insure cargo all risks, including piracy.

Transit time for the entire route was 58 days.
